House on the Cliff is organized as a sequence of terraces that step with the existing rock rather than leveling it. The primary rooms are held beneath a long concrete canopy, opening toward the sea through deep recesses that temper heat and frame the horizon as a measured architectural line.
The interior palette is intentionally restrained: pale mineral plaster, honed stone, darkened timber and bronze details that gather patina from salt air. Circulation moves between compression and release, shifting from narrow shaded passages to wide rooms where the landscape becomes the dominant surface.
